The Championships is an open competition, you do not need to qualify in order to enter. However ponies must be registered pure bred • Connemara • Dales • Eriskay • Exmoor • Fell • Highland • New Forest • Shetland • Welsh (A, B, C & D) with the relevant society.

In 2024, the Scottish Native Pony Championships will take place at the GDG competition on the 27th - 29th September at Bogenraith Equestrian Centre.
