Thank you to all the helpers, volunteers, judges and committee members who helped bring together our August competition. It was a great success, with lots of great riding from the highest levels to those taking their first steps into Dressage, well done one and all!
The success of these competitions are a reflection of the enthusiasm for Dressage in the North East of Scotland area, the dedication of the GDG committee and the commitment of the local riders who continue to support the group and its activities.
Any feedback welcomed,
Thank you Helen Bradley (BD List 1) for making the long trip up from Lancashire, to judge all levels from Inter 11 to Intro! And thanks also to local judges Julia Gourley (BD List 4) & Jacqueline Scoular (BD List 3a) who worked hard all day and gave back so much positive feedback to our competitors.
Amy Duncan, Lisa Gill & Hannah Size who wrote like demons, well done ladies, we are very grateful for your help.
Valerie, Juliette, Fiona & Jackie (& I think I have missed someone off here sorry, I can find a note of the name!) thank you for the mammoth day of stewarding, a difficult task but one you ladies covered superbly.
Sophia, Joyce, John, Emily, Clare, Doreen who worked tirelessly to keep the very heart of GDG functioning like clockwork. Morag Wilkie for her superb organisational skills , and Gillian peters for her continued help and advice.
I cant really thank myself, but I can say, that if it wasn't for such a great team working so hard, I wouldn't be able to swan around chatting as much as I do at these competitions, so my job is the easiest of them all, supported by such a strong crew, thanks guys!
Lots of get wells required, as ponies pull off shoes, their friends kick them and their owners catch bugs... hope you all, man beast get well soon!
Most of all thank you to the competitors, we don't have a competition without you, so thanks for coming, and please, do come back next time :D !
That is October by the way :D at Ladyleys where we will have 2 indoors and a hu ge warm up at our disposal so rain or shine, we can all stay dry!
